Preston & St Johnstone take the spoils

Another IFA League season drew to a close last weekend, as Preston were crowned British League Champions for a record 6th time. St Johnstone came in as runners-up and also claimed the Scottish League crown for the first time, with Livingston GS in second place. Preston added the English League title, finishing 9 points ahead of Stevenage.

More importantly, it was another strong year for the league, with 62 teams playing at least one game, 29 of whom made it into double figures. With all eyes now focussed on Worldnet, the IFA league will crank back into gear on the weekend of July 22nd. Entry details and full league rules will be circulated later this week.
