The IFA committee has today agreed that the IFA Challenge Cup Final match between St Johnstone and Stirling Albion will be played at a neutral venue in Scotland, to be confirmed in due course by both teams. The two teams will pay all appropriate costs relating to the final.
This will be the first time the Challenge Cup Final has not been part of the Worldnet weekend. To protect the integrity of both the IFA and its main cup competition, the IFA committee also take this opportunity to clarify that all future finals will be played at Worldnet, regardless of where the competing teams are from. This will form part of updated rules for entry, from the start of the 2017/18 season.
