Football Manager to sponsor Worldnet and Big Tam Vets

The IFA are pleased to announce FOOTBALL MANAGER as the headline sponsor for the forthcoming Worldnet and Big Tam Vets tournaments, which take place at the University of Nottingham’s Riverside Sports Complex on the weekend of the 6th-8th July. The two-day knockout tournaments mark the end of one IFA season and the start of another. Worldnet first took place in 1996, with the Big Tam Vets tournament added in 2007.“We’re delighted to be returning as a sponsor of Worldnet as well as becoming the sponsor of the Big Tam Vets tournament for the first time” said Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at SI. “This sponsorship reinforces our commitment to grassroots football and I know a number of the Sports Interactive team are looking forward to the chance to dust off their boots and compete in both tournaments.”

‘We’re thrilled to welcome Sports Interactive and the Football Manager brand back into the IFA fold’ said Jimmy Atkinson, IFA committee member and part of the Worldnet organising team. “We know that players and managers across the IFA are enthusiastic fans of FM, as it’s the closest they can get to doing the job for real. We can’t wait to see the SI team back at Worldnet’.

Entry to Worldnet and Big Tam Vets is still open to bonafide IFA sides, and entry can be made by filling in the form at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LK5JGZ6 with the prices maintained at £300 per team.
